AST Qualifying School @ 11th ASM Thailand 2023
Green Valley GC - Mon to Thu
Professional golfers who have played on a recognized Tour, are or have been a member of a recognized PGA are exempt from having to go through Q School and may simply apply to join the ASEAN PGA.
AST Q School is open to male golfers who are 48 years of age or older, who having qualified, paid to join the AST and have turned 50 then turn professional and compete in AST & ASEAN PGA events for Prize Money.
Golfers wishing to join the AST, but desire to retain their AMATEUR STATUS can do so by only competing for ranking points and waiving their rights and claim to any prize money.
Q School @ Thailand 2023 - 4 night / 4 day / 4 rounds of golf – play & stay package
US $1,150 and includes:
4 night’s accommodation at Official Hotel
Sun 19, Mon 20, Tue 21, & Wed 22 June – with breakfast
Q School entry fee and 4 rounds of golf
Mon 20, Tue 21, Wed 22 & Thu 24 June
- individual buggy and caddy - on course refreshments & lunch each day
Dinner on Sun 19 & Mon 20 June
Goodie Bag - T Shirt, Cap & golf balls
It will cost US$ 850 @ THB 28,900 for Thai Nationals & candidates who qualify for Country Exemption status to attend Q School
– their package does not provide for transport or hotel accommodation.
To pass Q School and become eligible for membership of the AST / AS PGA Tour, candidates will need to return a 3 day score (3 cards) which total no more than 18 over par during the Q School.
Successful candidates having paid to become members of the, Asian Seniors Tour and or the ASEAN PGA may then enter and play as a professional golfer for prize money in AST & ASEAN PGA tournaments
Insurance - all golfers, their travelling companion(s) and or caddie are advised and required to ensure that they have made arrangements to have their own valid personal travel, COVID and medical insurance in place.
Please note your passport MUST still be valid for at least 6 more months from the date of your arrival
Present and past members of any recognised PGA and or Tour are NOT required to under go qualifying school
